The rod has deep medium action and fly lines are well adapted to the rod. The fly line has a suitably long belly/lump which makes it easy to tension the rod without too much line outside the rod top. Float and float sink 1 line is included in the package. The set comes with a solid and proven reel, which means that the set can be used in tough fishing situations over time.
Flueline, backing and leader are mounted on the reel.
