Atlantic Salmon Line

This is the all-round lump more than anyone. Incredibly easy to cast as it charges the rod nicely with its new profile.

Our new line profile is designed with the right weight in the rear part of the lump. This makes it easy to load the rod as you wish, even when wading and there is less distance between the rod tip and the anchor point when casting spey. With Atlantic Salmon Line, it is easy to lift the line out of the water and there is no need for a first cast or a cast before the actual presentation cast. The block is adapted to the length of the rod and the whole thing feels like a dream compared to previous line profiles and lengths when the anchor is to be set when spey casting.

You get a controlled and precise overroll for all types of leaders and fly sizes as the front profile is carefully adapted to this. The lump is adapted to the different rod lengths and classes. If you want an extra good and deep rod tension, feel free to use a line class/weight class up. If you want a medium standard rod tension, use our recommendations. You will find line weight and class on all our rods and line boxes.

Atlantic Salmon Line is supplied with loops at both ends. The sink tip models have a sink tip/front part of approx. 3 meters which sinks based on the degree of sink given in the table, see below. Under our new and smooth coating you will find a braided core of 40 lbs that can withstand even the largest fish.

Note that table with sink degree must be seen as an average approx. table as there are several factors that influence sinking speed. Fly weight and volume, leader length and dimension, current speed and more will vary and affect how quickly the tip part sinks into the water masses when you fish.

When using a single or double spey cast, snake roll, circle cast and so on, Atlantic Salmon Line works very well, especially well in tight situations as the line length is well adapted to the rod length.
